Agent Al Simmons goes to hell when his boss has him killed for uncovering corruption at the CIA. Longing to see his lovely wife one more time, Al makes a deal with the demon Malebolgia - who reanimates him as an undead hellspawn. He becomes a Spawn, one of many who have walked the earth over the centuries. Here we have a McFarlane Spawn Series 7 The Mangler (black version) 8 inch action figure. The curse of Spawn reaches beyond the human world. Malebolgia, the leader of the Darklands, has recruited animals in his quest ot build the ultimate army. Many animals, including the Mangler, a wolf in his previous life, have become excellent Spawns. They don't question their masters, and act to please without hesitation. Uniting his animal instincts with the power of a Spawn, the Mangler relies on his keen sense of smell to track down his prey and carries a barbaric sword to defend himself. This is a beautifully sculpted beast figure - with lovely details: a mouthful of bloody sharp teeth, a long moist tongue, claw-tipped human hands, dorsal spikes, thick fur. This big bad wolf uses an old branch to hold himself upright. This staff can also be used as a weapon, as it is 'accessorized' on one end with a nasty sharp blade. The other claw-shaped end of the staff holds The Mangler's trophy du jour - the bleached skull of a minor demon. A unique werewolf-on-steroids figure - a fan favorite! Ultra cool! Very collectible! Packaged in a bubble with backer card. WARNING: CHOKING HAZARD -- Small parts. Not for children under 3 yrs. New but not mint. Backer card exhibits some warping at the bottom from humidity exposure..
