The Primacare IS-5236 Padded Aluminum Splint is a 36" long, 4-1/4" wide splint that consists of closed-cell foam padding over an aluminum core, so it is light in weight and can be cut and shaped to the desired fit. The padding cushions the affected limb and the aluminum core is MRI-compatible and radiolucent, allowing X-rays to pass through. The splint is waterproof and can be reused after proper disinfection.
