The Striker Helmet builds on Fox' success with the much-loved Flux. The difference is that the Striker is more competition-oriented, with a slimmer profile and lighter weight--about 60 grams lighter. That's pretty substantial, considering your neck will be holding your head and your helmet up for hours at a time. The Striker is also extremely cool, with 22 large vents forcing fresh air through the helmet. That's not to say that the Striker is any less safe, however--and it has the CPSC certifications to prove it. The Striker uses Fox' Detox II retention system to keep things in place. The Detox II can even be adjusted with one hand for a custom fit on the fly.
